Cuppa is an innovative local coffee brand that challenges traditional coffee culture by embracing experimentation, creativity, and accessibility. More than just a place to grab a drink, it positions itself as a space where coffee becomes an experience, inviting customers to explore new flavors, customize their preferences, and engage with the craft in a more personal and approachable way.
The goal was to create a strong and distinctive visual identity for a local coffee shop that stands out in a saturated market. The challenge was to move beyond the typical “artisan café” aesthetic and instead develop a brand that feels fresh, playful, and contemporary while still maintaining a sense of quality and credibility.

The concept is centered around redefining the everyday coffee ritual by making it more expressive and interactive. The name “Cuppa” itself suggests familiarity and ease, which informed a visual direction that is bold yet welcoming. The identity leans into rounded typography, fluid shapes, and dynamic compositions to reflect the movement and warmth of coffee. Playful graphic elements and modular layouts reinforce the idea of customization and variety, allowing the brand to feel flexible and ever-evolving.

The visual system is built around a versatile logo that can adapt across applications, from signage to packaging. Graphic elements are inspired by the rounded shape of cups and coffee beans. A rich yet polished color palette enhances shelf presence while maintaining approachability. The system extends seamlessly across cups, menus, social media, and in-store materials, creating a cohesive and recognizable identity that invites customers to engage with the brand both a visual and interactive fashion.
